What are 'concierge real estate services'?
Everyone knows a real estate agent - or two - or three... Chances are the agents you know work for one of the 'big' real estate agencies, with big offices and lots of agents. Nothing wrong with that! That's how we got our start.
After a few years and dozens of transactions, we realized that the big agency was a bit like handcuffs - they had all these internal resources that we were 'encouraged' to utilize. Each one was its own profit center and it was important to utilize them to help pay the bills to keep the office running. While convenient for agents, it wasn't necessarily the best for our clients.
Starting a new business isn't for everyone. But back in 2013, we started our new real estate practice, Preferred Florida Real Estate. We use the term 'practice' because, like other 'practices', we integrate with many outside sources to provide the best possible service options to our clients. It's a pretty simple equation - lower overhead translates to an ability to focus on the needs of fewer clients and provide a much higher level of service. This model has allowed us to move to a 'referral only' business. We don't send out postcards, letters, emails, or text messages looking for new clients. We work only with the clients we know and who they refer.
